I have admired Gatherings Magazine ever since it's debut last summer. Each issue is positively bursting with gorgeous interiors, crafts, recipes, etc. For me, the very best thing about Gatherings is that - just as the title indicates - it is a gathering space, bringing together creative women from all over the world to share their talents, their inspiration, and the loveliness they discover in the everyday world around them.
Heather Spriggs, a gifted artist & interior designer from Nashville, started Gatherings last year. Many of my favorite bloggers have contributed: Iris from Irideeen, Jennie Prince from Odessa May Society, Tina Fussell from Traveling Mama. I'm can't remember for certain, but I think I first "met" all of these talented women in the Decor8 Blogging Your Way e-course.
So, just imagine the happy dance going on over here when Heather invited me to contribute to the spring 2012 issue. What a great time I had styling, taking photos, and even writing down my thoughts on how it all came together. What an amazing opportunity to be able contribute to a community that has provided me with so much inspiration over the last year.
